John Hain, MD

John Hain, MD is a board certified neurosurgeon at Nebraska Spine Hospital. He cares for patients with a wide range of neurosurgical diseases involving the brain, spine and peripheral nerves. Spinal conditions that he treats include both acquired and degenerative diseases.

Dr. Hain interests involve all areas of complex and minimally invasive spine surgery including disk herniation, spinal tumors, spinal fusion, spinal deformity (scoliosis), spinal cord decompression, traumatic spinal injury and artificial disk surgery.

Dr. Hain has practiced as a neurosurgeon since 2007. Originally from Columbus, Neb., Dr. Hain attended medical school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He completed his residency in Surgery and Neurosurgery at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Ga. with special emphasis in complex spinal procedures. Dr. Hain has received additional training in minimally invasive spine surgery at the prestigious South Florida Spine Institute under the guidance of Dan S. Cohen, MD.

Dr. Hain is married. He and his wife have four children. His other interests include running, fishing and woodworking.
