About
Dr. John Hain is a board-certified neurosurgeon who has been in practice since 2007. He cares for patients with a wide range of neurosurgical diseases involving the brain, spine, and peripheral nerves. His expertise includes all areas of complex and minimally invasive spine surgery, including disc herniation, spinal tumors, spinal fusion, spinal deformity (scoliosis), spinal cord decompression, traumatic spinal injury, and artificial disc replacement.
Originally from Columbus, Dr. Hain received his undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln and attended medical school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. He completed his internship in surgery and his residency in neurosurgery at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta with a special emphasis in complex spinal procedures. Dr. Hain also received additional training in minimally invasive spine surgery at the prestigious South Florida Spine Institute under the guidance of Dan S. Cohen, M.D.
Outside of neurosurgery and patient care, Dr. Hain’s interests include running, skiing, fishing, hunting, and woodworking. Dr. Hain is also married, and he and his wife have four children.
Dr. Hain is available in Omaha and Fremont.
