Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska has named Nebraska Spine Hospital as a Blue Distinction Center+ in Spine Surgery. The Blue Distinction Centers for Specialty Care® program awards medical facilities that have demonstrated expertise in delivering quality specialty care.
The Blue Distinction Centers+ is the highest Blue Distinction recognition. Blue Distinction Centers+ demonstrate better quality and improved outcomes for patients, with lower rates of complications and re-admissions than their peers and are more than 20 percent more cost efficient.
