At Nebraska Spine Hospital, we focus on many factors to ensure we are providing the very best in spine patient care. We are proud to have earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for Disease Specific Care for Spine Surgery Certification. This is an internationally known recognition showing that our facility and team meet The Joint Commission’s rigorous performance standards in delivering quality, safe care.
“Disease Specific Care for Spine Surgery Certification recognizes health care organizations committed to fostering continuous quality improvement in patient safety and quality of care,” says Mark Pelletier, RN, MS, chief operating officer, Accreditation and Certification Operations, and chief nursing executive, The Joint Commission. “We commend Nebraska Spine Hospital for using certification to reduce variation in its clinical processes and to strengthen its program structure and management framework for spine surgery patients.”
Other Awards & Recognition
Our team focuses on the individual, not the condition, to provide the best care possible. The majority of our patients are extremely satisfied with the care they receive and we intend to keep it that way. We perform an average of 1,000 surgeries each year and our overall patient satisfaction consistently ranks above the 98th percentile.
Our board-certified and fellowship-trained surgeons and experienced staff have worked hard to provide outstanding quality outcomes, excellent patient satisfaction, and lower cost compared to our peers. We are proud to provide excellent patient care and of the awards and recognition we have received over the years.
