About
Dr. Timothy Burd is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and fellowship-trained spine surgeon who joined the Nebraska Spine + Pain Center in 2003 after completing his training in spine surgery. He specializes in neck and low-back spine diseases, as well as low-back pain in pediatric patients and athletes.
After graduating with his Bachelor of Arts degree in biological sciences from California State University, Fullerton, Dr. Burd earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha. He went on to complete his general surgery internship at Creighton University Medical Center and Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Omaha before completing his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Missouri Hospital & Clinics in Columbia. Dr. Burd completed his subspecialty training in orthopedic spine surgery at the Texas Back Institute in Texas.
Outside of his practice and orthopedic research, Dr. Burd’s interests include sports, biographies, reading, philanthropy, and weight training. He enjoys spending time with his family, including family vacations.
Dr. Burd is available to see patients at the Nebraska Spine + Pain Center in Omaha, as well as at their satellite office in Norfolk.
